These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Asmodeus Discord bot (“Asmodeus”, “we”, “us”). By inviting or using Asmodeus, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility & platform rules

You must follow Discord’s Terms of Service and Community Guidelines while using Asmodeus. You are responsible for your server’s configuration and how you use moderation features.

2. What Asmodeus provides

Asmodeus provides moderation and server utility features (for example: moderation actions, logging, reports/flags, configuration tools, and other admin utilities). Features may change over time.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse Asmodeus. This includes (but is not limited to):

Using Asmodeus to harass, threaten, or violate others’ rights.
Attempting to exploit, disrupt, or overload the bot or its infrastructure.
Reverse engineering or bypassing intended permission checks.
Using Asmodeus in a way that violates applicable laws or Discord policies.

4. Server administrator responsibilities

If you are a server administrator or moderator, you are responsible for:

Obtaining any consent required in your jurisdiction for logging or moderation records.
Configuring channels and permissions appropriately.
Ensuring staff use Asmodeus responsibly.

5. Service availability

Asmodeus is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee uptime, uninterrupted service, or that the bot will be error-free.

6. Termination

You may remove Asmodeus from your server at any time. We may suspend or block access to Asmodeus (for a user or a server) if we reasonably believe there is abuse, security risk, or policy violations.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, goodwill, or profits arising from use of Asmodeus.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when updates are posted. Continued use of Asmodeus after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
